The middle layer of the traditional 20-count 3-ply gauze fabric has been replaced with a 1/2-weight weave, hence 2.5-ply. The irregular weave produces an exquisitely soft texture. Lighter, softer and quick to dry, and still highly absorbent. Slightly varying the dye for the warp and weft creates natural colour depth.
